Three red-handled angled-fan brushes of varying sizes. The synthetic bristles are mainly brown, with red starting about 2/3 of the way from the ferrule and white at the tips. The edges of the ferrule are a wave-slope, not quite following the curve of the brush heads. On the largest brush, the edges can easily be felt when I push into the edges of the brush…but if you can feel the edges when you’re using the brush on your face, you’re pressing way, way to hard for either blush or highlighter application!
The medium brush is, in my opinion, the most useful of the three. The large brush head covers such a wide area that it’s very hard to get any kind of precision application; and the smallest brush works for applying eyeliner or sweeping highlighter over your lid, but there are plenty of other eye brushes that do that job just as well if not better. Indeed, only the Medium Fan Brush made it into the current Real Techniques lineup.
