Just a tiny bit softer than other metallic reds, and with no black backing to the shade (like Isis or Aromaleigh's Drama Red.) I like finding reds that don't have the blackening - just clear, red or maroon color that shows up well without having to be coaxed.

I love this shade! I just wish the liner performed just a tiny bit better. This is a near-metallic finish, so there's a tendency to skip just a bit. The application is cleaner than UD's matte pencils, and not as scanty as the full-on metallic eyeliner shades, but…it doesn't...
