Awfully brushstrokey (dang it!!) but a gorgeous shade. The color and metallic finish mean that if this isn't the perfect manicure shade, it's great for nail stamping. Without a top coat of some sort, this is fairly fragile and prone to scratching and chipping.

I was hoping that this would be a dark royal purple with some holographic effects. It's actually closer to a dark navy blue, almost black. The holographic effects aren't very visible, even after the four coats for complete opacity. There is a slight - very slight - purple duochrome. But this is definitely not the color I was expecting or hoping for. Once it's on, it stays put until removed. So that bit is good. As for the rest…it...

Can I be brutally honest? (Well, of course I can.) I stayed far, far away from this entire collection when it originally came out. It seemed that everyone was falling all over themselves to jump on any glitter polish, and my admittedly limited experience with glitter polishes had taught me that they were Not My Favorite Thing Ever.
