China Glaze’s Eyes Like Sapphires

China Glaze’s Eyes Like Sapphires

This is an older China Glaze color, but I've still been able to find it - and most of the rest of the We Adorn You collection - at various etailers. It's a really gorgeous jeweltone blue!! It's also one of the older glass-fleck polishes I've seen from China Glaze (and yet, keep in mind, my beauty addiction only dates back to 2007, so it's not like I've been around forever and a day.) Areetha is a lovely metallic deep lilac. I get full coverage in just two coats, it dries quickly, and it wears well. But…damn. The spreadability sucks. I don't know if Areetha just has an older formula or if I got an off-batch, but this one's about as brushtrokey as the China Glaze Romantique colors! Zoya's newer metallic shades don't have this problem. So it's also possible that my bottle came from a not-so-fantastic batch.
