A near-white sparkle, not quite metallic but almost. Fully opaque, and just barely greyed - using this gets me my inner-vee and browbone highlights without looking quite so abrupt or over-the-top. (I personally like brighter whites as all-over shades or dramatic liners. They're often a bit too bright for highlighting.)
When I got this color, I knew it reminded me of something…I just wasn't sure what. Once I swatched it, I almost instantly thought of Concrete Minerals' Wicked, as being something it's very simlar to. Turns out…Sorrow is very similar to another BFTE color that I fell in love with: Boysenberry. That color was limited-edition, and I don't know if it was limited-edition because one of the ingredients was discontinued or not - but I was extremely glad...
Very attractive near-neutral, with softer aqua iridescent highlights. I can see this becoming one of my daily-use shadows, easily! I've had success pairing this with cooler charcoal greys, or the more neutral taupes - but the instant I try to wear it with anything that's the slightest bit warm, it just looks like a cement-grey. Wear it with the right colors, and it nicely shadows without being overbearing/too dark/too blue.
I managed to get this shade before Persephone's temporary closure back in 2011. When they re-opened, Spirit Realm was added to the regular lineup.
