Like the Cozy and Bright collection, these are marketed as highlighters and eyeshadows. The colors themselves are kind of odd for highlighters, but all of them have an iridescent or interference layer that helps them function better as highlighters.
Looks like a straightforward cream-leaning white frost, but there’s just enough gold shimmer to add what looks like a slight iridescence. This makes a good highlighter for me, though I need to use it sparingly or the white is too visible and it looks too much like stage or costume makeup.
One of the Fatalis colors that I thought might work well for me, both because of the base shade and because of the shift I saw in the vendor photos. There is some shift visible when I move my arm closer and further away from the light source, but not an overly striking, very visible color shift…and it’s a semisheer base shade that takes some layering before it’s a really strong autumnal red.
I bought one of these colors fron the Bestsellers page, and got a few more as free samples…so I purchased the rest of the collection in sample size so that I could have everything. About half of these are duotone-interference finishes, the other half are shimmer-finish. One has kind of light coverage, but the others are nicelynopaque.
I was expecting something a little bit deeper...but this is a good color on me. It looks like damp ash, and has some purple tones in it. I haven't tried it as a liner yet, but I think it will be interesting with the scattered gold shimmer particles.
