BareMinerals’ Intro to Eyes kit

A great way to get an intro to everything eye-makeup-related in BE’s lineup. I’m not sure when this kit was available, but since it includes one of the Big and Bright eyeliners, I’m guessing that it couldn’t have been much earlier than 2010.

BareMinerals’ Intro to Eyes kit

The color palette is pretty simple - black mascara, medium-soft brown eyeshadow that leans just barely warm. The big payoff for a kit like this is getting to try lots of different types of product and being able to create an entire look, without having to pay for them all separately or without having to use other items to supplement (unless you wanted to.) It was a little bit like the various Getting Started kits, but in some ways it was a bit more comprehensive. I was not too fond of the eyeliner shade, but Flaunt is a color that I reach for often (when I’m not reaching for a dupe from among my indie eyeshadows.)
