This color is very, very close to Twilight Green - but without the hints of blue. The result is a straight evergreen with the faintest shimmer, nearly a soft pearl finish rather than an all-out shimmer. This is another shade like True Green, in that it almost looks matte. And this from a straight mica, which usually is fairly shimmery!

The color isn’t quite dark enough to easily be used as a liner shade, unless you aren’t using any other dark colors on your lids. You’d probably need to go over the applied liner with something to help intensify it, and help it keep its definition through the day. (And, hey, that might be my next experiment: using this color as a liner. I often cheat and use Fyrinnae’s Pixie Epoxy as a base for my loose-powder liner shades. That stuff really grabs and holds tight.)

This straight mica almost reminds me of a Blue Spruce, which is a cool evergreen from a distance and the needles have a faint blue when you’re up close. Definitely a cooler blue, and without a primer of some kind this won’t stay in place very long. I love this color! I don’t know how easily people with gold undertones would be able to wear this shade, because of the blue shimmer.

The color payoff is nice, no thin spots or faintness. I did like that it didn’t lose much of its heft on the skin, versus in the pot.

Beauty Tip

Soften a too-rich lipstick by blotting and then dusting your lips with finishing powder. (This also helps set the color.)
