One of the things I picked up at the Stila Friends and Family sale. I’d kind of wanted to try their longwear lip colors, but not at $22 apiece! This let me try a liquid lip color and their regular lip color at a good price, plus the F&F discount on top of that… - and I liked the shades.
I like both products! I don’t know that I’d use them together, because they both give me good coverage, just in different ways. The Long Wear Liquid Lip is a bit like BE’s Pretty Amazing lip colors. The Long Wear Lip Color pencils are a bit like the Tarte Lipsurgences, but slightly more pigmented (so I guess that would make them like the Revlon Just Bitten Balmstains, then.) Both of these colors are part of the regular lineup, and they’re individually over $20 apiece, so this is definitely a good deal. (Stila’s website copy is more than a bit confusing at the moment. It says, “price: $25 a $42 value!” but the price you’re charged is $30. So I don’t know where the booboo came in, but someone needs to call them on that. I’ve helpfully (for you folks) gotten a screenshot of the page, thus guaranteeing that I will never ever be thought of well by the folks at Stila.)
