The first collection released with a new iridescing/sparkling ingredient contained fourteen eye colors, all in brights (some VERY bright). Hopefully this will kick off a whole new spate of goodies for us to drool over :D This collection is limited-edition, but Heather plans to keep using this sparkle-additive in future colors - just look for the word “glitz” in the name or description.

One of the kits in the QVC diamond-infused AD series (Champagne Diamonds, Pink Diamonds, this kit, and Canary Diamonds).
I bought the pieces off of Ebay sellers - I already had a goodly supply of Bare Radiance, and the blush color looked a bit too burnt-orange to work well with my coloring. The eye colors all looked interesting. Heavenly Diamond was the first color I picked up, and while yes, it’s a plain base, the sparkle was very nice - apparent without being in-your-face-glam, just a bit extra.

Right off the bat, you should know: I have a deep and abiding love for the sheer buxoms (and for a few of the full-color ones). This is saying something, since before I encountered the buxom lip polishes I rarely wore any lip color. So nearly any buxom lip item, color, or kit will get my attention and careful consideration, if not a purchase. I was eager to see these as soon as I heard about the release, and I’m glad I got them a month before their general release - to give me more time to play with them!

This is the only yellow buxom I’ve seen - leaving the buxom lip tint out of it for a minute. I like the fact that it’s golden, so it’s not a full-on warm; the sparkles, so that it’s not just golden; and the magic-factor. What magic-factor, you ask? Why, this one: while I was up battling the demons of insomnia, I was rearranging my makeup and decided to try layering Joy buxom over Gingersnap lip color - a color that I’d gotten, but wasn’t able to wear often because it was so very close to being outside my “easily wearable” range. Kind of brown, a little warmth, not too dark, but not anything that really pulled a look together. I tried these two colors, and was really pleased at the result. I never would have thought I’d get this effect from that combination…but it happened.
