I definitely like the dry application of this color a lot more than the foiled. When I foil it, the base color doesn’t want to stay put and most of what I get is the gold shimmer with some hints of green. It also doesn’t apply evenly when I foil it - I see places where my skin shows through.
This is sold as a blush; and it could probably look good on deeper skin with cool undertones. On me (cool but fairer) it’s just a little too pigmented to use as a blush, no matter how careful I am. It does make a very nice softer eyeshadow. I still get color depth without the heavier payoff. Because of my hooded and oily lids, I still have to use an eyeshadow primer to keep this from creasing and fading...
