I was glad to get my hands on a pink felt-tip liner! I wish that it was waterproof, though. None of these liners are waterproof. I have to pat them down with fixative to get them to stay in place all day. To me, it’s worth it - between the yellow and the pink I would have been happy to do another step to make sure these worked for me. One downside, though, is that this won’t show...
This lip tint isn’t completely opaque, but it does have a fairly good color payoff. I did have to reapply more often because the color is more sheer, and I didn’t notice any difference in my lips over time - neither good nor bad. These have a very strong chemical smell, like Milani’s lipsticks, which are supposed to contain grapeseed oil. These don’t list grapeseed oil as an ingredient, but the scent is incredibly similar.
This is a lighter brown with some faint (very faint) grey tones. It can look a little rock-y, or it can be a lighter dust-brown, depending on lighting and your undertones. This isn’t the lightest of the Loaded Bold colors, but it’s definitely one of them. (Nude Thrill is a lighter shade.)
I thought this would be slightly lighter. Instead of a cup of cocoa, it’s more like a cup of black coffee! It’s not quite a blackened brown, but it’s close.
Darker charcoal creme polish, good for stamping and nail art as well as straightforward manicures. This is almost a creme version of Gunmetal, from this same collection.
I saw these when they first came out, but wasn’t too sure that I wanted to dive right in. I waited, watched for reviews, and bought a few in late summer. I like the formula and format - they’re great for travelling - but I wish that they were just a little more pigmented. Colourpop was aiming for the ultra-airy “glass skin” market, and while the color is a nice, gentle glow…the color doesn’t really build....
A medium mauve with a bit of a white top layer that lightens the final shade. It applies very evenly and I saw solid color payoff for both the wet and dry applications. It blends well enough, even with darker colors that can overwhelm mauves and medium taupes. When I got the reds from the Slay Me line - this color, Boca del Infierno, Burn All The Witches - I thought there would be just a little more variance between...
This was one of the first colors from this collection to catch my eye! Blue eyed people don’t always look fantastic wearing blue eyeshadow, because it washes out our eyecolor…but with some eyecolors, I’ll make it work. This is one of them - I love saturated, medium- to deep blues. This can be more teal or more turquoise depending on the other colors used, but based on what I’ve worn it with, it lends itself to...
This highlighter is more gold than rose, but there is a very faint layer of sheer pink under the gold shimmer. This is almost a powder-dupe of Unicorn Dreams. I like the layering effect and the way that the background color makes the gold highlight stand out just that much more.
