This is not my favorite of the “foiled” kits. The brush is not my favorite, and…two near-neutrals? Really? You could have so much more easily picked better colors to show off foiling. But no, you had to go with these two.
Almost looks black, in some lights. This is a nice deep violet shade that goes on easily and, once it sets, stays in place. Like all of the RTC liners, this is essentially a gel in pencil form - so don't expect to be able to tightline or easily do...
The color? Bright green. Definitely. However…it goes on very patchy, and it isn't easy to layer. (Even when I waited a few minutes to give the first layer time to set, I still couldn't get good, solid, opaque coverage with a second pass.)
There were two blushes in this collection: one warmer (this one) and one cooler (Cookie Sheet.) I like them both, and am glad I got an heir-and-a-spare before this kit was taken off the site! (EDM's eyeshadows…were kind of hit and miss. Their blushes were uniformly good-to-very-good, though.)
This is a creme finish…sort of. There's scattered gold shimmer in it which is only really visible extremely close up. It's a good color, it stains pretty well but it does fade after a few hours and touch-ups give it back its vibrancy.
This is one of the few shades in this collection where the “velvet” finish doesn't overwhelm the color. Velvet Fog is a nice grey, good color payoff. It leans just a bit cool, so this won't work as a highlighter shade for most people who can and do use lighter...
