There wasn’t necessarily a theme running through this group of items, other than the names. They included jeweltones and neutrals, mostly shimmers (but that’s kind of a Fyrinnae thing), and…I waited a bit too long to get these in full size. The winter of 2013 was particularly brutal for me because I had been unemployed for a long time, and knew that heading into the holiday season, I wasn’t likely to to find anything until late winter. ...
I didn't use this one for the longest time. It was VERY clumpy, and it smelled odd. (Lots of other people noticed this, too.) I got this in 2011, and set it aside…for nearly three years. When I finally swatched it, the pigment was still clumpy as heck, and the odd smell was there, but it wasn't any worse than it had been. It also didn't itch or burn when I swatched it on my bare arm and left it...
Not my favorite color or finish; but for folks looking for this shade with a frost finish that doesn't overwhelm the base color, this is a good choice. This is a newer addition to the lineup, I think - I can't remember it being in the BFTE 1.0 lineup.
Another color that I was interested in, but didn't get ahold of until the formula changed. I'm less fond of this new formula because I have to apply it slightly differently from my other loose powders. Getting it applied smoothly takes a little more work, but once it's in place I'm happy with the color payoff and the longevity.
I like a lot of the colors in this palette: Orbit, Villain, Fern, Paper Bag, Maple, and Ink are my favorites. Flesh and Paper Bag are both good highlighters, and Dune isn't something I'm immediately visually drawn to, but it's an excellent neutral.
Not as pale a black base as the Black Bow fluidliner, but not totally opaque either. The sparkle can be a little bit on the messier side, but I didn't get tons of sparkly fallout with this the way I have with some other, similar liners from other companies.
