Saturday Soundtrack: Burning Down the House (Tom Jones + The Cardigans)

For some reason I’ve been on a “high school music” kick this past week, listening and re-listening to the music that was on the air when I was in - and just out of - high school. Lots of Art of Noise, some Genesis, and this one song. A few months back I was lucky enough to find the official HD video on YouTube. Now, though…the video apparently is not visible in the US because UMG and Vivendi are apparently having a spat. (Oh, rapture.) Here’s the link to the video on the official Cardigans YT channel, for non-USian folks who want to see that version. Instead, I’ve got the one below to show to folks…the video itself has been reversed, so it’s wildly out of sync with the audio track.
