Saturday Soundtrack: Like Cockatoos (The Cure)

This song was on the seventh album released by The Cure. I played my then-boyfriend's cassette nearly transparent when I first heard it in 1991. A few years later, when that boyfriend was history and when I got the CD version I was fairly annoyed that one of the tracks had been left off due to space limitations on CD versus cassette. I think this song caught my attention because of the instruments used and the somewhat etheral-sounding music. I didn't become a raging Cure fan, only buying two of their albums: this one, and Galore.
