I love deep red eyeshadows. I remember when I started using BE, I was thrilled to see what looked like rich reds in their lineup. Many of them turned out not to have much color payoff, so I started looking at the indie vendors. I didn't find too many. But now…now I've got choices.

I love how this complements my eye color! If you have blue eyes - whether blue-green, blue-grey, or straight blue - give this one a try. (Even if the concept of hot pink shadow makes you a little uneasy.)

This is close to the color I “see” when I think of strawberries. Maybe a little darker than most strawberries I see in the store (sadly) but that's mostly the fault of poor produce-stocking sections.

A little less color payoff than I'd like. It's not as opaque a color as some silver-metallic eyeshadows like Fume. The color is bright, though - almost a silver-white. This would probably be a very nice inner-eye highlight on some people, though maybe a little more dramatic on olive or deeper skintones.

I love shades that manage to be dark and dramatic without blackening! I can use them more ways, in different styles of makeup looks - even softer, less dramatic ones - and don't have to worry about them always overpowering the other colors.
